BOAST NOT AGAINST THE BRANCHES: OLIVE TREE VERESES EXPLAINED

Updated: Aug 13, 2023

You may or may not have heard the term boasting against the natural branches. If you haven’t you are going to learn something today. This term has a very important bible meaning and will help you understand the perspective of the scriptures and who they were written for and why.

We will also look at who the Olive Tree is according to the Most High’s promises and this too will give you more insight about the faith. This article will open your mind up to to ideas you probably never associated with the scriptures found in Romans 11.

We will also look at other scriptures which relate to this topic of boasting against the natural branches. We will use scriptures found in the Apocrypha, more specifically the book of Maccabees.

Prepare to be shocked at what you discover but also remember at the end of it we have Salvation to look forward to.

As we are looking at the Olive Tree Bible verses let’s first look at the history of the Olive Tree and what it represents all over the world…

What Does An Olive Tree Symbolize

We know in history when we look at references to the Olive Branch that it symbolises peace.

You probably heard the expression:

“I’m extending an Olive Branch”

Equally Olive trees relate to symbols of peace too. Olive trees can live thousands of years and it’s this longevity which symbolises wisdom. The fact that they live through many different generations gives them the title as an old wise tree.

Some of the oldest olive trees are located in Greece and are believed to have been living over two thousand years. A specific tree is one located on the island of Crete.

It is called The ancient Olive Tree of Vouves. There are also trees found in Israel that have been there over 900 years , one such tree is located in Gethsemane.

What Does The Olive Tree Represent In The Bible?

When we read the scriptures we see many references to the Olive Tree so it is clearly a tree that the Most High associates with righteousness.

We know from reading scriptures that the land of canaan (Land of Israel) was a land that was fruitful. We are also told that it’s a land of “olive oil”, (of course olive oil comes from olive trees) and a place without scarceness:

Deuteronomy 8:7-9

7 For the Lord thy God bringeth thee into a good land, a land of brooks of water, of fountains and depths that spring out of valleys and hills;
8 A land of wheat, and barley, and vines, and fig trees, and pomegranates; a land of oil olive, and honey;
9 A land wherein thou shalt eat bread without scarceness, thou shalt not lack any thing in it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of whose hills thou mayest dig brass.

…In layman’s terms Israel was a rich fertile land with many fruits and substances olives being one of them.

What Is The Olive Tree Used For In The Bible?

When we read scripture we see that when the Olive Tree was eaten for its olives Israel were not to go back over it to get every single olive off the tree:

Deuteronomy 24:19-21

19 and hast forgot a sheaf in the field, thou shalt notWhen thou cuttest down thine harvest in thy field, go again to fetch it: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all the work of thine hands.
20 When thou beatest thine olive tree, thou shalt not go over the boughs again: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.
21 When thou gatherest the grapes of thy vineyard, thou shalt not glean it afterward: it shall be for the stranger, for the fatherless, and for the widow.

…Israel were told to leave olives for the gentiles the fatherless and for widows. This scripture serves as evidence to show us that Olive trees were referenced in biblical times.

Olive trees were also used as the wood for carving statues (i.e. Cherubims) in the house of the Most High (1 Kings 6:32-34).

1 Kings 6 :32-34

32 The two doors also were of olive tree; and he carved upon them carvings of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers, and overlaid them with gold, and spread gold upon the cherubims, and upon the palm trees.
33 So also made he for the door of the temple posts of olive tree, a fourth part of the wall.
34 And the two doors were of fir tree: the two leaves of the one door were folding, and the two leaves of the other door were folding.

Olive oil from the Olive Tree is also used for anointing the body like a body oil or moisturiser today. Most people are unaware of this today and can’t live without chemically manufactured body creams and moisturizers which is unfortunate because they do nothing for your body.

Emphasis is more on how they make the skin feel rather than replenishing it with nutrients…

Olive oil is rich in many different ingredients that are helpful for the skin these include fat soluble vitamin’s A, D, E and K as it’s primary ingredient.

So we know the Olive tree can be used for wood carvings and as a skin moisturiser but what does the Olive Tree represent in the Bible?

What Does The Olive Tree Represent In The Bible?

David the psalmist referenced himself as a green olive tree in the house of God. This brings attention to the olive tree as a tree that is respected by the Most High.

Psalm 52:8

8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.

We get a clearer picture about what the Most High thinks about Olive Tree when it is referenced in the book of Jeremiah as he likens it to Israel:

Jeremiah 11:16

16 The Lord called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.

The tree is called fair beautiful in “fruit and form” in the amplified version and “fair and, of goodly fruit” in the King James version, which gives a clear indication of the esteem that the Olive Tree is held in. It represents goodness and righteousness.

Who Are The Wild Olive Tree In the Bible?

Romans chapter 11 references the Olive Tree and It is symbolised as Israel who are the natural olive tree and the gentiles who are the wild olive tree:

Romans 11:24

24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?

Here Paul is giving the analogy that the gentiles have been cut from a wild olive tree and grafted into the natural olive tree who are Israel. Meaning that the faith was given to Israel but other nations can be a part of it.

We can infer from this that the Olive Tree is a representation of righteousness from a biblical point of view.

In other scriptures we find patriarchs such as David referring to themselves as olive trees which again supports symbolism about the Olive Tree being Israel.

The scriptures also tell us that Israel was planted as an olive tree:

Jeremiah 11:16-17

16 The Lord called thy name, A green olive tree, fair, and of goodly fruit: with the noise of a great tumult he hath kindled fire upon it, and the branches of it are broken.
17 For the Lord of hosts, that planted thee, hath pronounced evil against thee, for the evil of the house of Israel and of the house of Judah, which they have done against themselves to provoke me to anger in offering incense unto Baal.

This description of Israel coincides with Paul’s analogy that we see in Romans 11 where he refers to Israel as the natural olive tree. So now we have a clear picture about who the Olive Tree represents let’s move on to “boasting against the natural branches”…

What Does Not Boasting Against The Branches Mean?

If you haven’t worked it out yet boasting against the natural branches means thinking yourself higher than the actual people that the Most High chose and gave his laws, which in this case are Israel.

The opposite of this, which is not boasting would be to recognising the Most High’s people Israel and not acting like they are no longer an important part of the faith or in the Most High’s plan, which is what we see today.

I will present more information about the types of boasting that went on even before Paul made this declaration statement to the gentiles that accepted the faith. I will also talk about the current boasting which is going on as we speak….

Paul gave a clear mandate to the gentiles who we know are the Europeans, Arabs, Asians and Hamitic African nations today.

During biblical times it was mostly Romans and Greeks that were being spoken to but today many Caucasian Europeans who believe would need to take heed to this message as well as Hamitic people who many of the African Nations today.

Paul called himself an Israelite from the tribe of Benjamin. Today they are the Negroes from the west coast of Africa taken to the West Indies, Brazil, US and other European dominating continents, during the trans Atlantic slave trade. They make-up the two tribes, mainly Judah and Benjamin with the Levites.

The other 10 tribes are the Native Americans, Hispanics and Latinos that we find in America before Christopher Columbus appeared.

You can get more In-depth information about this by reading the articles below:

Now we understand that, we know that those that would boast against Israel are, white skinned Europeans and dark skinned Black Hamitic African people as well as so called olive skinned Arabs ( some are dark skin too to) and Asians, all of which are gentiles because they’re not from the seed of Israel.

The Greeks And Romans Boosting Against Israel

You can get some examples of boasting against Israel In the book of Maccabees. We can see some incidents which took place before the Messiah came on the scene.

During this time the Romans were establishing their presence (which started with Alexander the Greek) in Israel and in doing so they forced their heathen customs on Israel:

2 Macabees 6:1-9

1 Not long after this the king sent an old man of Athens to compel the Jews to depart from the laws of their fathers, and not to live after the laws of God:
2 And to pollute also the temple in Jerusalem, and to call it the temple of Jupiter Olympius; and that in Garizim, of Jupiter the Defender of strangers, as they did desire that dwelt in the place.
3 The coming in of this mischief was sore and grievous to the people:
4 For the temple was filled with riot and revelling by the Gentiles, who dallied with harlots, and had to do with women within the circuit of the holy places, and besides that brought in things that were not lawful.
5 The altar also was filled with profane things, which the law forbiddeth.
6 Neither was it lawful for a man to keep sabbath days or ancient fasts, or to profess himself at all to be a Jew.
7 And in the day of the king’s birth every month they were brought by bitter constraint to eat of the sacrifices; and when the fast of Bacchus was kept, the Jews were compelled to go in procession to Bacchus, carrying ivy.
8 Moreover there went out a decree to the neighbour cities of the heathen, by the suggestion of Ptolemee, against the Jews, that they should observe the same fashions, and be partakers of their sacrifices:
9 And whoso would not conform themselves to the manners of the Gentiles should be put to death. Then might a man have seen the present misery.

As you can read above anybody that did not take part in these customs from the tribes of Israel were killed.

It’s crazy to think that people say the Greeks and Romans brought civilization to the world. In actual fact they brought their own customs by the sword and terror…

And the Bible confirms this:

1 Maccabees 1:7-9

7 So Alexander reigned twelves years, and then died.
8 And his servants bare rule every one in his place.
9 And after his death they all put crowns upon themselves; so did their sons after them many years: and evils were multiplied in the earth.

We are told that evils multiplied on the earth After Alexander the Greeks 12 year conquest and during, which is the total opposite to what conventional Wisdom teaches. Who should we believe the Most High or man?

Further to this we see an incident where the Greeks attempted to force a senior Israelite to break The most high’s dietary laws by feeding him unclean food:

2 Macabees 6:18-31

18 Eleazar, one of the principal scribes, an aged man, and of a well favoured countenance, was constrained to open his mouth, and to eat swine’s flesh.
19 But he, choosing rather to die gloriously, than to live stained with such an abomination, spit it forth, and came of his own accord to the torment,
20 As it behoved them to come, that are resolute to stand out against such things, as are not lawful for love of life to be tasted.
21 But they that had the charge of that wicked feast, for the old acquaintance they had with the man, taking him aside, besought him to bring flesh of his own provision, such as was lawful for him to use, and make as if he did eat of the flesh taken from the sacrifice commanded by the king;
22 That in so doing he might be delivered from death, and for the old friendship with them find favour.
23 But he began to consider discreetly, and as became his age, and the excellency of his ancient years, and the honour of his gray head, whereon was come, and his most honest education from a child, or rather the holy law made and given by God: therefore he answered accordingly, and willed them straightways to send him to the grave.
24 For it becometh not our age, said he, in any wise to dissemble, whereby many young persons might think that Eleazar, being fourscore years old and ten, were now gone to a strange religion;
25 And so they through mine hypocrisy, and desire to live a little time and a moment longer, should be deceived by me, and I get a stain to mine old age, and make it abominable.
26 For though for the present time I should be delivered from the punishment of men: yet should I not escape the hand of the Almighty, neither alive, nor dead.
27 Wherefore now, manfully changing this life, I will shew myself such an one as mine age requireth,
28 And leave a notable example to such as be young to die willingly and courageously for the honourable and holy laws. And when he had said these words, immediately he went to the torment:
29 They that led him changing the good will they bare him a little before into hatred, because the foresaid speeches proceeded, as they thought, from a desperate mind.
30 But when he was ready to die with stripes, he groaned, and said, It is manifest unto the Lord, that hath the holy knowledge, that whereas I might have been delivered from death, I now endure sore pains in body by being beaten: but in soul am well content to suffer these things, because I fear him.
31 And thus this man died, leaving his death for an example of a noble courage, and a memorial of virtue, not only unto young men, but unto all his nation.

You can see that Eleazar who was 90 years old refused to eat the food which resulted in his death.

We read in that Eleazar was forced to it pig, but he spat if out, and was martyred because of it…

This was a man of wisdom that understood that death is not the end. And he would rather leave a good example that succumb to the devil, a true saint!

Boasting Against The Natural Branches In Modern Times

This can be likened to the transatlantic slave trade and and the Catholic Missionaries, Conquistadors and such like, bringing Christianity to the true Israelite’s who had lost their culture and identity, just as they did at the time of Nebuchadnezzar rule (Jeremiah 17:4).

When we look back at history wasn’t it the Christians who were selling slaves and wasn’t Christopher Columbus a so called Christian a key player in the movement?

What boast against the natural branches could be more sizable than this?

…It becomes even more sinister when we understand that the Negroes taken to the Americas, Brazil, the West Indies and other European countries are the true biblical Israelites…

And again more sinister still when we understand that the Native Americans in the land of America before Columbus are also Israelite’s…

Incidentally this is the same Modus operandi that we see with Catholic Church Missionaries, who have taken their corrupt brand of the faith i.e. Christianity, Catholicism throughout the whole world.

At this point another boast needs to be be looked at and that is this picture:

We are told that the Greeks and Romans put their images in the scriptures during the time of Alexander:

1 Maccabees 3:48

48 And laid open the book of the law, wherein the heathen had sought to paint the likeness of their images.

And there is no more proof of that, than the pictures you see above when you type “what christ looks like” in Google. It just shows the sinister agenda to rewrite the truth…

The main picture is drawn by Leonardo da Vinci but many see it as Jesus Christ or the son of the Most High. To find out their real names click here.

What could be more boastful than to change the nationality skin and complexion of the Messiah? This is responsible for making Christians all over the world believe that the Israelite’s are originally of European Caucasian descent.

The Fullness Of The Gentiles: Meaning Explained

To understand the fullness of the gentiles we have to understand Israel’s part first.

Romans 11:11-12

11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?

We are told that the gentiles are only able to to receive the scriptures in the way that they do today because Israel fell. But this doesn’t mean that Israel have been forgotten, the moment gentiles begin to believe this, boasting begins…

Now let’s see how Israel falling away brings in the fullness of the gentiles?

We know that at the time of these scripture, Paul was talking to the gentiles who he had brought into the faith. The faith was unknown to most other parts of the world.

Since this time the Romans (European nations) have taken their brand of the faith called Christianity or Catholicism around the whole world.

The scriptures have referred to Catholicism as the Harlot that sits on many waters…

Revelation 17:1-5

1 And there came one of the seven angels which had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will shew unto thee the judgment of the great whore that sitteth upon many waters:
2 With whom the kings of the earth have committed fornication, and the inhabitants of the earth have been made drunk with the wine of her fornication.
3 So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.
4 And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
5 And upon her forehead was a name written, Mystery, Babylon The Great, The Mother Of Harlots And Abominations Of The Earth.

Because of Catholicism’s arrogance in attempting to change laws and times, which was also prophesied by Daniel…

Daniel 7:25

25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.

Some of the most obvious changes are celebrations such as Easter which is supposed to be Passover, Christmas (Xmas) supposed to be Hanukkah and holding the day of rest which is the Sabbath on a Sunday the first day of the week rather than the seventh day.

A number of prophecies have been foretold in the Book of Revelation by John. He has made us aware of many things that have come to past and those still coming to pass. It’s only after all these things have concluded that the “fullness of the gentiles” will be complete.

One such prophecy is the mark of the Beast and people being unable to buy and sell without This Mark:

Revelation 13:17

17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

We already see countries who have employed such a mark using digital technology (commonly called an RFID, which means Radio frequency Identification). Incidentally prophecy says that this mark is a mark of a man….

The fact that this technology is called an identification brings this point home, because an ID is a mark of a man…

This was prophesied by John way before this type of technology was even an idea…

The Messiah also prophesied Wars and rumours of Wars and pestilences…

Matthew 24:6-7

6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.
7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

In the times after the Messiah said this we’ve seen…

World wars one and two, Spanish flu, HIV, AIDS, Ebola and many others, and of most recent COVID-19 (Coronavirus) which now leads the way.

And on the Warfront we’ve seen many leaders and dictators taken down and destroyed a theme that seems to be never-ending just as the Messiah prophesied….

A key part of these prophecies is that the faith of the Most High and His Son would be preached to the four corners of the world,

Matthew 24:14

14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

which gives everybody a chance to repent and enter the kingdom of the Most High which will be here on earth…

Revelation 21:2

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

The fullness of the gentiles will be complete when the Messiah comes the second time to take back the Earth. This is what is meant by the fullness of the Gentiles.

Conclusion

Hopefully this information wasn’t too overwhelming, because there’s a lot to ponder here. What you should take away from this information though is that Israel are still a prominent part of the Most high’s plan…

There’s no greater proof for that then the fact that you’re reading this information now and I myself am an Israelite from the tribe of Levi. How often do you see scriptures Explained with such simplicity?

So we now know the wild olive tree represents righteousness and fruitfulness…

Unfortunately boasting against the natural branches has become the status quo today, the attitude that Israel is no longer a part of the Most High’s plan, even though we see in the book of Revelation the complete opposite…

We clearly see in scripture that the tribes of Israel are named before gentiles when entering the kingdom of the Most High, when it’s established on earth (Revelation 7:1-9).

The prophecies which lead up to the fullness of the gentiles are as follows:

Supporting an European image of the Messiah is the highest form of racism because it’s simply untrue. It was the Roman’s that the Messiah warned Israel against, who eventually destroyed the second temple in 70AD, and destroyed and scattered his people Israel.

  1. That church (Catholisim) religious organizations will attempt to change the laws of the most high.

  2. The scriptures would be preached to the four corners of the world,

  3. Pestilences and rumours of wars would persist,

  4. And in the end the mark of the Beast will be administered to everybody and those without it will not be able to buy and sell.

The fullness of the gentiles means that all the prophecies within scriptures must be fulfilled, to usher in the Kingdom of the Most High...

The onus is now on you. If you are a gentile then you are a wild olive tree mentioned by Paul it’s your job to blow the trumpet. You need to let all your gentle friends know who the true Israelite’s are.

And keep and follow the commandments your self…

You can read these articles for a more in-depth explanation:

Let’s put down the myths and conjecture and stop pretending colour doesn’t matter nationality and colour are extremely important, otherwise we would all be blind.

When we read Revelations Israel will rule over other nations but not the same way that Europeans and other gentiles have been ruling in this world.

If you need to repent check out this post here for steps on how to repent and be baptised.
